Edit homepage cards and images
Audience and Discover cards help visitors find important school information.

Before you begin
Open Website → Edit Website in Editing mode. Use only images approved for public viewing. If Homepage Cards is missing, ask your district/Sundial contact to check access.
Steps
- Select Homepage Cards.
- Choose an offered Audience or Discover card from Card.
- Edit Title and Description. Keep text brief and clear.
- Keep Use default destination selected, or clear it and enter a valid school route, page anchor, or public HTTPS address. An empty destination makes the card non-clickable.
- For a Discover card, use Upload image or Choose an existing school image. Upload JPG, PNG, or WebP files up to 10MB.
- Enter Image alternative text that describes the image, or leave it empty for a decorative image. Use Remove image to remove it from the card.
- Select Save card. Save or cancel before selecting another card.
- Preview the homepage, then publish when ready.
Expected result
The saved card belongs to the draft. Its homepage appearance changes after publication.
Troubleshooting
Only Discover cards offer images in this panel. Uploaded images become public media immediately, even before you publish the card. Remove image removes the card's image selection; it does not promise deletion of the uploaded file. Restore card defaults resets the selected card in the draft. Editors and district-only access may not have card-edit permission; use the controls your account actually offers.
