Before you begin
Connect to the internet. Use Safari and the Sundial link supplied by your school. Installation is separate from administrator sign-in.
Steps
- Open your school's Sundial website in Safari.
- Choose School App. Check that you are viewing the correct school's app before adding it.
- Open Safari's Share menu. Depending on your layout, first open the page menu or More.
- Choose Add to Home Screen. On layouts that offer Open as Web App, turn it on.
- Check the school name and icon, then tap Add. The icon uses the school's configured branding; schools without a logo may use a fallback.
- Find the icon on your Home Screen and open it while online.
Expected result
The Home Screen icon opens your school's app. Add it separately on each device.
Troubleshooting
If Add to Home Screen is missing, scroll through Share options; on iPhone, check Edit Actions. Open the link directly in Safari if you started inside an email or social app. If the school icon is wrong, verify the school address before adding it again. Device restrictions may prevent installation.
